Caring for works on paper

Archival cotton rag and pigment inks will hold their colour for decades, provided you keep them out of direct sunlight. That is genuinely most of the advice.
If you are framing at home, ask for UV-protective glazing and a mount that keeps the paper from touching the glass.
“Paper is far more resilient than people assume — it just dislikes direct sun.”
Handle unframed prints by the edges, ideally with clean dry hands, and store them flat rather than rolled once they have been unpacked.

If a print arrives with a slight curve from the tube, lay it under a clean board for a day or two and it will settle.
